Chestnut display cabinet
A display cabinet in sweet chestnut. The backboards have a finely rippled figuring and the drawer fronts are brown chestnut from the heart of the tree. The upper part of the cabinet has sides of japanese plant paper with leaves matching the colour of the chestnut. The inspiration for the piece came from traditional Korean furniture pieces.
